He decided to make a career out of it and help others do the same, and a personal trainer was born.

The experience and knowledge he has obtained over the years has helped him ensure that his personal training clients get amazing results. Today he is a proud husband and father of three beautiful kids and a devoted family and businessman.

My interest in fitness and wellness began while serving in the United States Navy on a ballistic missile submarine. I passed the time by working out in educating and assisting my shipmates to do the same. I began to compete in bodybuilding competitions and further educated myself in nutrition and various other movement systems. In 2000 I suffered a torn ACL and begin my rehabilitation at Medsport, a sports and occupational Rehab Clinic. Upon completion of my rehab process, I began a four-year period of employment at the clinic under the tutelage physical therapist, chiropractors, and kinesiologists. Working with and monitoring patients recovering from virtually every orthopedic malady helped mold my philosophy of functionality and balance.
Working with insurance companies and the restrictive confines of our medical system inspired me to find another way to help people achieve their fitness and wellness goals. Becoming a personal fitness trainer was a seamless transition and I’ve never looked back. I believe our health and our body is a gift and should be treated as such. Balance and functionality are paramount in any fitness regimen. Bench pressing a lot of weight is great but if you can’t get up off the floor or you are in chronic pain from imbalance, it doesn’t mean much. So whatever your health and fitness goals are, let me, as your physical trainer, help you create and execute a plan to achieve them.

My passion for fitness developed from my life of sports. I became serious about pursuing collegiate athletics during my high school years and realized the importance of taking care of my body. I began researching new and proven ways to maximize my performance through proper nutrition and exercise. That realization turned into a passion and I haven’t looked back; I love coming to work every day and helping people better themselves. The most rewarding part of my job are the relationships I am able to build with individuals from all walks of life. I plan to continue my education in this industry with a personal trainer certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in order to continue to help people for years to come.
